Sharks Football Project

 

 

Since March of 2013 I have been working in partnership with the Navigators Sports Club (Parque das Nações, Portugal) in order to establish an american football team in this part of Lisbon.

 

American Football is a Sport that has had a great development in Portugal for the last decade.

 

11 Teams compete in the Portuguese American Football League and we, SHARKS, want to be part of it as soon as possible.

 

So far we've seen almost 100 people coming to practice either to become part of the team or simply to know more and get some experience about the sport.

 

Right now we are working to get better facilities in order keep this project growing. 

 

Previously to this project I was part of the Direction Board of another Football Team in Lisbon - Crusaders - for three football seasons.
