Voluntary work

 

 

For over 10 years I worked as a voluntary in summer camps both in Portugal (Ericeira and Sintra) and in the United States of America. Each year represented around 5-6 weeks of camps. In 2007 I worked for 8 straight weeks in Schroon Lake, USA.

In the first three years (14-17 years old) I worked doing maintnance jobs in the properties. The following seven years (18-24 years old) I led a group of teens in order to organize all sport activities and tournaments.

 

During this period of time I received many awards of participation, including one is the United States in America as the best voluntary worker among 200 people.
